Labor day in Egypt celebrates the hard work of their citizens and common folk. It also celebrates the joys of spring in that time of year.
Many just relax with family and friends to enjoy a day of not having to wake up early and head off to work. This is a national holiday that gives a break to all workers of Egypt.
The beginning of this holiday happened when riots for workers rights broke out around the world during the Industrial Revolution. This cry for a break got governments to allow a national holiday in the labor forces honor, Labor Day.
